We took our Jeep TJ with all its new "toys" to Colorado July 14th through the 22nd. Camped out at Camp Dick in the Roosevelt National Forest. The entrance to the Middle St. Vrain ORV trail was right there at the Camp. This is ranked a level 4 trail by the State of Colorado however the ranger at the station said it was closer to a level 5 due to the water depths and some of the changes to some of the obstacles. Near the trail head you could turn off and enter the Coney Flats ORV trail. Both trails together were a total of 9 1/2 miles. It took about 5 hours to do both trails. None of it was too tough but it did get a little hairy in some spots. It was a total blast! |
